CE Exam includes ebook, practice exam (same as final exam), and final exam.
CE Course includes ebook or video presentation, practice exam (same as final exam), and final exam, plus additional material (delivered online) such as a study guide, workbook, or video.
Note: “Without Book” option does not include a book. The book or ebook is required for successful completion of the exam but is not included with this purchase. Purchase this option only if you already own the book or ebook.
Yes. If you’d like a print book, you will need to add two items to your shopping cart. Choose a CE product titled “Without Book” and add it to your cart along with the book. You can find the standalone book associated with any course, by scrolling down to the “Related Products” section on the product page.
If you do not see your organization under the “Approved Credits” area on the product pages, please reach out to your organization regarding their policy of accepting courses that are not previously approved.
After completing the course evaluation, you will be directed to the Credit Selection page. If your organization or association is not listed, then we may not have received pre-approval or the approved credits may have expired for your organization. Select “Certificate of Completion” as your credit option, then please reach out to your organization regarding their policy of accepting courses that are not currently approved.
Human Kinetics strongly recommends that you complete your exam within the calendar year of your date of purchase to ensure approved credits do not expire for your organization. No, Human Kinetics webinars are not pre-approved for continuing education.
On the product page of each product, please refer to the number of Contact Hours, included under Approved Credits, for the approximate time needed for completion.
Yes, you can leave and return to your course and/or exam as often as necessary for as long as you have access.
The continuing education exam is not timed.
Yes, exam answers are saved if you need to leave and return to your exam before submitting your final answers.
To ensure the approved CE value does not expire, Human Kinetics strongly recommends that you complete your exam within the calendar year of your date of purchase.
Your course materials will be accessible to you for 24 months from your original date of purchase, but Human Kinetics cannot guarantee credit approval from your organization beyond the original calendar year of your date of purchase.
For continuing education course or exam purchases with ebooks, your ebook will be accessible to you for 10 years from your original date of purchase when you create a VitalSource Bookshelf account to view it.
If you received an ebook with an online course and did not create a VitalSource Bookshelf account to view it, you may only access the ebook from the course for 24 months from the purchase date. See the FAQ on How do I locate an ebook for an Online Course or CE Exam for more details.
You will receive your exam results immediately upon completion. You may retake the exam if you do not achieve the minimum passing percentage. There is no fee associated with exam retakes.

After passing the exam, you may view the results from your exam; download, save, or print a certificate of completion; or email a copy of the results to yourself.
