Points of the Arm Tai Yin Lung Channel
This is an excerpt from The Pocket Atlas of Acupuncture Points by Lynn Pearce.

There are 11 points on the Lung channel, with LU 1 starting just below the corocoid process. Traversing the anterolateral aspect of the arm and forearm, passing through the cubital fossa lateral to the biceps tendon, the channel ends at the lateral aspect of the thumb nailbed.

Medial to the corocoid process of the scapula on the anterior of the chest. LU 1 is half a cun lateral to LU 2.
Needling
0.5 cun obliquely and laterally. Be aware of the rib anatomy. Do not needle medially as this poses significant risk of Lung injury.
Actions and indications
Used to treat all respiratory conditions, especially coughing and difficulty breathing. Relieves fullness in the chest. Clears and tonifies Lung Qi. Aids dispersal of Qi. Aims to eliminate Heat, Stagnation, and Phlegm from the chest.
Locally helps with shoulder problems. Its location within the pectoralis muscle makes this a useful point from a musculoskeletal perspective.

Ask the patient to stretch their arm out in front and the deltopectoral triangle is both visible and palpable. This is formed between the clavicle (above), superior border of pectoralis major (below) and anterior border of deltoid laterally.
Needling
Same as LU 1. Beware Lung position.
Actions and indications
Systemic actions are like those of LU 1. Its location within pectoralis major at its clavicular attachment makes this another useful point from a musculoskeletal perspective because clients with most chronic shoulder problems have developed adaptive shortening in their pectorals.
