Consisting of three video presentations, Body Composition Online CE Course helps personal trainers and other fitness professionals gain a better understanding of weight gain strategies, weight loss misconceptions, and the impact of creatine on body composition.

Nutritional Strategies to Maximize Weight Gain will explain how you can guide your athletes to gain muscle and lose body fat safely and effectively—all within your scope of practice. Professionals want effective, safe, and easy-to-use practices, and that’s exactly what you will get from this presentation.

Addressing Common Weight Loss Misconceptions in Sport will help you make sense of common yet untrue beliefs held by many athletes and coaches surrounding weight loss and its effects on performance. You will understand how to address these misconceptions with your athletes and offer effective and safe guidance (or referrals) based upon sound exercise and nutrition principles within your scope of practice.

Influence of Creatine Supplementation on Body Composition introduces the foundational mechanisms of creatine supplementation, along with the expected outcomes. Common supplementation guidelines are explained so that you can educate athletes about the use of creatine as an ergogenic aid and the corresponding resistance training programming needed to promote muscle hypertrophy. Learners will understand how best to advise athletes and clients about use of this supplement, within scope of practice.

Each video presentation in Body Composition Online CE Course contains slides that make it easy to follow along with the presenter’s discussion. Once you complete the course and pass the exam, you can print a certificate for continuing education credits.
