Stacy Furness, EdD, is a faculty member in the health and human performance department at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls (UWRF) and is the assistant dean in the College of Education and Professional Studies. She is the program coordinator for the Health Education Teacher Education Program and the edTPA coordinator for all teacher preparation programs at UWRF. She received her bachelor of science degree in health education and specialist degree in education administration from Minnesota State University at Mankato. She earned her education doctorate in leadership from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. She has presented at numerous regional and national conferences, including multiple presentations at the national SHAPE conference on health education, teacher preparation, and the edTPA.
