American Youth Football, Inc., established in 1996, is a support services organization, dedicated to giving back to communities by promoting the wholesome development of youth through their association with exemplary adult leaders in the sport of American football and cheer.

The Babe Ruth Baseball/Softball program, using regulation competitive baseball and softball rules, teaches skills, mental and physical development, a respect for the rules of the game, and basic ideals of sportsmanship and fair play. The International Motor Development Research Consortium (I-MDRC) was created in 2014 as a way to bring together an international body of researchers at various points in their careers and from a variety of countries and research backgrounds.

The National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA) is the professional membership association for certified athletic trainers and others who support the athletic training profession. Founded in 1950, NATA serves a global community of members.

NATA’s mission is to represent, engage and foster the continued growth and development of the athletic training profession and athletic trainers as unique health care providers.

Human Kinetics partners with NATA to support educational publishing and provide benefits to members.

NCPEID and HK have partenered to develop and publish the Adapted Physical Education National Standards and the credentialing exams for Higher Education and Practitioner Certified Adapted Physical Education (CAPE) certifications.

Founded in 1985, the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) is a multidisciplinary professional association comprised of health professionals who serve in the field of cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. AACVPR is dedicated to improving the quality of life for patients and their families by reducing morbidity, mortality, and disability from cardiovascular and pulmonary disease through education, prevention, rehabilitation, research, and disease management.

HK partners with AACVPR to publish the Guidelines for Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programs and the Guidelines for Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs.

SHAPE America – Society of Health and Physical Educators is the largest organization of health and physical educators in the country, serving as the voice for more than 200,000 professionals across the United States. Since its founding in 1885, the organization has defined excellence in physical education. For decades, SHAPE America’s National Physical Education Standards have served as the foundation for well-designed physical education programs across the country. Additionally, the organization helped develop the National Health Education Standards and now owns this set of standards.
