You may know how to do exercises correctly, but do you know how to coach them effectively? Dr. Lauren Tapp and Dr. Josh Wludyga, co-authors of Exercises for Resistance Training, realized as they were coming up in the industry that something was missing from their experience. They were taught how to do the exercises they needed to teach clients, but they didn't have the resources they needed to effectively coach the exercises. In this episode, the duo discusses their experiences with cueing and coaching exercises, and give advice to other professionals on how to effectively communicate with clients.
