Federation of Holistic Therapists

The aim of the FHT Accreditation scheme is to independently approve qualifications and short courses offered primarily by training schools and colleges that are not validated by an Ofqual regulated awarding organization i.e. VTCT, City and Guilds, ITEC, ABC. By offering an independent therapy course accreditation scheme, the FHT provides students with assurance that the qualification or short course being offered meets the syllabus standards of the therapy course on the Qualifications Credit Framework (QCF).

FHT places the responsibility on each member to decide what their professional development needs are. Members are encouraged to focus on the quality and outcome of CPD activities, as opposed to the time spent on these.

Renewal Requirements
FHT members must complete a minimum of 10 CPD points per membership year, through developing in all areas of therapies practiced. Please note FHT Associates, Affiliates and Student Members are not required to complete CPD.
