To assist students using the text, the seventh edition of Life Span Motor Development has related online learning tools delivered through HKPropel to help students understand and apply concepts and research findings. It includes over 190 video clips with footage focusing on infants, toddlers, young children, adolescents, and adults performing fundamental motor skills, including a comprehensive video diary of the first nine months of an infant’s life.
Forty-seven accompanying lab activities and interactive questions give students an opportunity to interact with motor skills in real time to help them apply concepts from the book, sharpening their observation skills and providing an integrated student learning experience. The lab activities may be assigned and tracked by instructors through HKPropel, along with chapter quizzes (assessments) that are automatically graded to test comprehension of critical concepts.
A code for accessing HKPropel is included with all new print books and some ebooks. For ebook formats that don’t provide an access code, one may be purchased separately.
