Introducing Human Kinetics’ Digital Dance Technique Collection
By Bethany Bentley, Human Kinetics
We at Human Kinetics are delighted to introduce the Dance Technique Collection, a unique digital subscription-based product. This instructional tool features hundreds of dance technique video clips and photographs demonstrating beginning steps, movements, and poses from nine dance genres.
The Dance Technique Collection is essential for any dance program, whether as required course material for students or as an instructional tool for teachers. This is the only resource of its kind that combines this much authoritative content with user-friendly organization and supporting materials.
Instructors can use the Dance Technique Collection to review material for teaching a course: Use the video clips and photos as a refresher on correct techniques and variations, and use the glossaries with English and Spanish definitions—including audio pronunciations in both languages—to bolster knowledge of essential dance terminology. Instructors can also adopt this collection as a resource to help students practice technique outside of class and study terminology. Downloadable quizzes with answer keys are provided to check understanding and provide evidence of learning.

Individuals can subscribe to the Dance Technique Collection for either 6 or 12 months—sign-up is easy and is processed directly through the site. For institution-wide access, subscriptions are available for 1 year or 6 years. Visit Video.HumanKinetics.com to get started! \create link\
