Click here for a tutorial detailing the steps for purchasing a course. You will need a Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover card to make the purchase through the website.
The courses are web-based, with all content, reading material, animation, audio clips, quizzes, and test delivered electronically.
Coaches should expect to spend two to three hours going through the online course. Careful reading of the PDF book and other materials found within the course will require additional time (well spent!).
After successfully completing the course, coaches can print a certificate of completion directly from the site. However, we will not be mailing certificates.
Certification is valid for one year from the date of course completion. Coaches need to recertify each year to continue the $2 million liability insurance coverage. In 2020, returning football and cheer coaches will take the course AYF/AYC Recertification Course: Safety and Health 8E for recertification.

The beauty of online learning is that you do not need to take the course all in one sitting. You can come back to the course as many times as you wish to complete it. We recommend that, when you do log off, make a note of where you left off.
To continue your course, click on the “Take Course” tab from the home page, sign in using your email address and password, and enter the course. Once you are in the course, click the “Menu” option on the left hand side of the screen. The menu will expand to show all the chapters in the course. From there, click on the plus sign to the left of the unit you were working in to see a list of the sections in this unit. Click on the section you want to begin with.
